Johnny Mathis’ second album, Warm, was originally released in December 1957 and proved to be an even bigger success than his earlier Wonderful Wonderful release. Peaking at number two on the US charts, it sold more than a million copies domestically, firther establishing Johnny as a superstar. The material did not vary too much from his debut release; an abundance of romantic ballads, lush orchestration and Johnny’s velvet like voice well to the fore, Warm has become something of a landmark and classic Johnny Mathis album.
