Description
At the young age of 66, the blues man who has toured with the likes of Janis Joplin in the sixties, worked as one of Seattle’s important indie studio engineers, and yet one would think he was just off the street as a humble performer. It’s because he’s lived a full life. It’s hard for the man to summarize the sudden popularity he’s gotten since appearing on Jools Holland's 'Annual Hootenanny' show, but it hasn’t hindered his music or mentality one bit.
Songs for Elisabeth is an album for the sweethearts out there looking for a unique Valentine’s Day gift for any day of the year. With Seasick Steve’s blues ‘n’ roots voice and guitar, his personality that matches a true musician who’s seen it all works incredibly well to deliver tracks that not only sound good, but feel good too. The tracks have been collected from his previous four albums, as well as an unreleased 'Ready For Love' song.
