Description
The Stereophonics was formed in Cwmaman, South Wales in 1992. At the present moment, the band is still comprised of its 4 main members Kelly Jones, Javier Weyler, Richard Jones, and Adam Zindani. This time however, the band has included Tony Kirkham as a touring member playing the keyboards. The band has already produced 6 highly successful studio albums wherein 5 topped the UK charts. Stereophonics' highly anticipated 7th album, "Keep Calm and Carry On", will come out on November 2009. A very successful compilation of the album was primarily circulated in the fall of 2008 and peaked in at number 2 in the UK charts. The band prominently reached mainstream when they released "Performance and Cocktails." Their other promotional singles were broadcasted in 1999 and have accumulated a total of 10 top ten singles. "Dakota" has by far been the band's best single. It was released in 2005 and is considered to be Stereophonics' breakout single in the US.
The album consists of 12 songs and is expected to be another Stereophonic classic brought about by its grungy rock and unique playing antics.
