Description
Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) is having trouble running his business, as well as keeping his family together. Being in the mafia has taken a toll on Tony’s health, and he seeks the help of a psychiatrist (Lorraine Bracco). His wife Carmela (Edie Falco) and two kids are trying to live a normal life amongst the chaos of the FBI and rival families at each others’ throats.
The first season dwells on Tony’s issues with his horrible mother Livia (Nancy Marchand), and her battles between Carmela. Dr Melfi’s sessions with Tony end up putting both their lives at risk, and Melfi tries to deal being involved with the Mafia’s businesss.
The Blu-ray editions comes with not only the first thirteen episodes, but an audio commentary by creator David Chase, as well as featurettes about the Soprano family.
