Comments about Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PC):

I have been awaiting this game and was very excited given that I played the original which was cutting edge and innovative in it's day. The array of options on how you go about tackling a situation and the detailed story line are it's best features. I was a little disappointed in the narrative branching in that it repeats the same cut scene irrespective of the choices you make. I am pleased this is the only problem I have noticed when playing and although a minor annoyance it is not enough to stop me playing what is a deeply engrossing and exciting game. this is a thinking game and brilliant.

An absorbing game that takes time to play and time to unravel the story. Great atmosphere. Challenging gameplay (which will cause novices or casual gameplayers some angst). Strategy and patience is paramount!
I found the characters rather wooden and the graphics are not as good as I anticipated. It took me a while to get into Deus Ex HR but now that I am, I love it.

Nice graphics and sound, even on mid range PCs. Voice acting is decent with a good variety of mission types. My one gripe would be that the game includes 'boss fights' which isn't always a bad thing, but in a game where one play style option is to use stealth and non lethal fighting styles, boss fights seem a little pointless, yet you're still required to trudge through them. Other than that, the game was enjoyable and worth a look.
