Night On Disco Mountain / Disco Inferno(Alliance Mod, Manufactured on Demand)
Product Notes
Arthur Fiedler, the long-time conductor of the Boston Pops orchestra, the symphony orchestra that specializes in light classical and popular music, became the first orchestra of it's kind to record a bona fide disco album in 1979. Inspired by the hit movie "Saturday Night Fever," Fiedler & The Boston Pops recorded an album comically titled "Saturday Night Fiedler," containing a medley of some of the biggest disco hits of the day and "Bachamania," in which Bach goes disco! Presented here is "Night On Disco Mountain" b/w "Disco Inferno," the only official single released from the hit album, newly remastered from the original 7" vinyl mixes.
