Product Notes

Bing Crosby is in top form in the musical comedy Here Come the Waves co-starring Betty Hutton as identical twins! Johnny Cabot (Crosby) is a swell and stylish entertainer who gets enlisted by Uncle Sam to serve in the Navy, despite being turned down earlier for color blindness. His poor sight makes it just about impossible for him to tell the difference between identical twin sisters (Hutton) who try to put the make on him. The swooning crooner soon discovers, however, that fellow shipmate Windy (Sonny Tufts) has his sights set on one of the twins and plans on making his own kind of waves to get his gal. Double crosses and mistaken identities collide hilariously in this zany romp through Uncle Sam's fleet. Featuring Bing singing such standout hits as Accentuate the Positive, Let's Take the Long Way Home and I Promise You, Here Come the Waves is delightful, top-notch Hollywood fun.
