Tsotsi

An ambitious young gangster (Presley Chweneyagae), earning the nickname Tsotsi ("thug") for his murderous behavior, preys on other blacks in his Soweto, South Africa, homeland. When one of his crimes hits unexpected complications, Tsotsi undergoes a profound transformation, facing both demons from his past and the possibility that his future need not be defined by violence.
