Based on a novel by C.D. Payne, this quirky dark comedy focuses on Nick Twisp (Michael Cera), a virginal misfit dealing with divorced parents and their respective new lovers. When Nick meets the beautiful and smart Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday)-a girl he believes will never be interested in him-he creates a suave, mustachioed alter ego named François Dillinger in an attempt to woo her.
